Ernst-Christoph Krackhardt, Life Cycle Management Director, Siemens Marine

Mr Krackhardt received his Extra First Class Certificate of Competency (combined – motor & steam) in 1989 and became Project engineer and Team Manager Special Naval Applications at MTU Friedrichshafen. He joined Howaldtswerke Deutsche Werft AG (HDW) in 2001 as head of the Machinery design department, and in 2003 he became head of the projects department. In 2004 Mr Krackhardt joined MAN UK as Applications Engineering Director. In December 2006 he was taking on the position as Director Sales of Siemens Marine Solutions in Hamburg, and in September 2009 he was appointed Director of Life Cycle Management.
